About MT-CET 2013
MT-CET 2013 is here - this is the most important exam for the future engineers and doctors from Maharashtra.
MT CET is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Maharashtra Government. The entrance exam is to provide admissions to the eligible candidates to various engineering courses offered by the colleges in Maharashtra.The Selection Process shall however be separate for degree courses in, Engineering/Technology and Pharmacy. The Competent Authority shall devise the system of Counseling/ Allotment. This procedure shall be governed by the regulations and directions as specified by the Government of Maharashtra from time to time.
Exam Details
MT CET 2013 Exam Pattern has been released by the Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra.
The Paper 1 will have questions on Physics and Chemistry having 50 marks each. The weightage of Mathematics will be 100 marks.There is no NEGATIVE marking as per the MHT CET 2013 Exam Pattern. The changing of answers is not allowed. Multiple answers, overwritten, scratched and tick marked answers will be considered as wrong and will not be checked.
Paper Duration & Details
MHT CET 2013 exam for gaining admission in the engineering colleges of Maharashtra is scheduled on Thursday, May 16, 2013. The exam will be based on three sections, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The duration of the paper is 1.5 hours.
The maximum marks of the exam is on the Mathematics section. The total marks is 100. The Physics and Chemistry sections will have 50 marks each. The total marks and number of question of MHT CET is 150. Each question bears one mark. There is no negative marking scheme in the paper.
